The City of Albuquerque Parks and Recreation Department maintains and manages nearly 300 parks and over 160 miles of paved multi-purpose trails throughout the city, offering people a great way to connect with nature, relax, play, learn, and come together. Our Open Space Division manages or co-manages nearly 30,000 acres of land to preserve, protect and offer recreational opportunities like hiking, wildlife viewing and mountain biking.
