This trail includes a connection from Easterday on the west side of Los Altos Park and includes a pedestrian bridge over I-40 heading south where it connects to the I-40 trail heading east (maintained by NMDOT). The trail also curves south from the Eubank tunnel to Copper Trail on the south side of Los Altos golfcourse.

The pedestrian bridge that crosses I-40 creating a trail connection from Los Altos Park to Los Altos golfcourse on the southside of I-40 may experience daytime and nighttime closures as Phase II of Los Altos Park reconstruction begins.
