This is a lovely loop trail, beginning with a short path in the woods, then heading along Murphy Road and then through fields as it goes along a pond that is a dammed portion of the Tiasquam River.  It then heads uphill, along a stone wall and past cattle, following along another stone wall by Middle Road as it heads back to the parking lot. A short, but nice, loop.
