The Purple Trail is a long loop, and part of the Twin Valley Trail (TVT). This trail connects the former Camp Hook Boy Scout area and both backcountry and frontcountry campsites to the hiking trail system. The meadow at the Bob Gardner Lodge is home to many different types of birds and butterflies.
