A brisk, lakeside hike along the lower leg of the loop, through a mixed hardwood forest with views of various rock outcrops, spring wildflowers, and fall foliage. The upper leg of the loop offers a more challenging hike, with increased elevation up to a ridgeline thick with hardwoods, rock overhangs, and grottoes. Parking is available at the Stone House Trail parking lot on Road 1 and at the Kennedy Stonehouse museum.
