The Stevens Creek - Tony Look Trail starts from the parking area at the North end of Stevens Canyon County Park as a paved road, but soon branches off as a dirt road that continues to the base of the reservoir dam. From that point, it turns steeply upwards as a narrow hiking-only trail the remainder of the way to the south end of the reservoir where the creek enters. Along the way is 500 feet of climbing and nearly 400 feet of descent. Several trail junctions along the way allow for mixing this up with other trail systems.
