The Rock Shelter Vista Point Trail, located within Vasquez Rocks Natural Area, is an offshoot from Apwinga Loop Trail. This 1/4-mile trail features rocks that serve important functions for wildlife, providing spaces for nesting, breeding, hunting, and shelter for animals such as cliff-nesting birds, bats, small mammals, and reptiles.
