The trails at Riley Ranch Nature Reserve allow you to explore more than 184 acres of open meadows, juniper and pine forests, unique lava flows, cliffs, and the river’s rocky canyon. Riley Ranch has several loop options that offer users accessible trails and gorgeous views wherever you turn. The upper trails are accessed directly from the parking lot and are wider compacted gravel trails. They feature a dedicated viewing platform that overlook the Deschutes River and canyon. The lower trails are natural surface trails and are only accessible by a steep connection. Please note; some sections of the trails may be dedicated to pedestrian-only.
