The Plumley-Maud trail is a winding two track that moves through boreal forest, black spruce and offers lovely views of Burnt Butte and Lazy Mountain. It connects the ends of two neighborhood roads and is multi-use, enjoyed for dog walking, skiing, running, mountain biking, 4-wheeling, and snowmachineing. On weekends it can be busy with motorized traffic but solitude can often be found at less busy times.

The Plumley-Maud North Trailhead departs from the end of Maud Road, and the Plumley-Maud South Trailhead at the end of Plumley road. The trail can also be connected with the Rippy Trail or Morgan Horse Trail for a longer adventure. Each trailhead may be difficult to access depending on road conditions - respect all the privacy of the homes nearby and park off the roadway.

Meandering side trails depart from the main Plumley-Maud trail, follow signs to stay on trail the main trail. Snowmachiners and ATV riders must yield to non-motorized trail users and keep their speeds under 10 mph.
