This scenic trail takes the adventurer along an old towpath which traverses next to a wall of rock ledges and beside the wild and scenic river. Arriving at Lusk Lock, which features two spiraling staircases, allows the hiker to imagine simpler times of transportation. This lock is part of the Sandy and Beaver Canal. Stately hemlocks and sycamores form a canopy overhead and abundant wildflowers surround the visitor as they travel. A definite must see when you are in the area.
