The Griffy Causeway Trail (.25-mile) runs along Headley Rd and connects users to the northern and southern hiking trails around Griffy Lake. This path improved safety and accessibility, as pedestrians no longer need to walk along the edge of the road to access these trails. The trail features an accessible paved fishing pier and four additional shoreline fishing spots. The trailhead starts directly across the street from Griffy Lake Nature Preserve main parking lot.
