The Awbrey Reach of the Deschutes River Trail runs from Sawyer Park to Putnam Road in the Awbrey Glen neighborhood. It is one of the most picturesque reaches of the Deschutes River Trail and offers spectacular views of the river canyon, Riley Ranch Nature Reserve, and the Cascade Mountains. A steep climb up the Archie Briggs Canyon Trail connects to Mt. Washington Drive. It crosses Archie Briggs Road and users should cross with care.
