This is a short and scenic connector trail along Cowles Creek. Boating and fishing were popular pastimes on this creek 100 years ago. Although a narrow and shallow waterway today, this creek was a bustling area with a lumber industry due to the high quality of whitewoods and oaks in the area, and a dock that received limestone shipments from western Ohio.
