This open trail loops around the campground. You will see maple, mulberry, dogbane honey locust, jewelweed, and wingstem. Birds you may see and hear are the blue-gray gnat catcher and titmouse. Mosquitos can be bad in the wooded area. There is also a steep hill by the river road.
