Blackberry Island Trail is a lightly trafficked loop trail that features the lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and trail running, and is accessible year-round. This trail will treat hikers to glimpses of nesting red-headed woodpeckers and barred owls. The trailhead is accessible from the Lakeview Trail across a footbridge. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
