Ohio’s state forests are managed for multiple uses including sustainable timber production, wildlife habitat, soil and water protection, and recreation. This trail was originally designed and built for forest fire control and timber management activity access. When not in use for those purposes, it provides an environmentally sound corridor for horseback riding.
