This trail, aptly named for the abundant mature cherry trees found in this forest, is delightful. It meanders over hill and vale. The understory is filled with spicebush and ferns. There is a coniferous grove at lakes edge providing a beautiful spot to sit and dream. There is also evidence of beaver activity along this trail near the overlook to Goose Island.
