This short, flat trail is primarily a bird observation loop that goes along the edge of the big marsh at Rocky Fork Lake. There is a nice wooden observation blind built on stilts just above the water. It is a great area to view herons, ducks, egrets, swans, and bald eagles. In the spring after heavy rains, parts of the trail can be standing in water. The trailhead and parking area is across from the entrance of the campground on North Shore Drive.
