This new trail follows ridge lines and valleys through mixed deciduous and coniferous forest. It travels along a ravine, opening into a deep wet woods with large and beautiful boulders. It traverses near the edge of the lake and offers lovely views of the water. This is an out-and-back trail which should be avoided when the water is high as it can easily become a swamp.
