Mountain bikers, and hikers, can create a loop ride/hike by beginning at the South Trailhead taking the Yellow Trail north (& part of Orange Trail) following the red blazes to a couple mile loop and back. Blaze colors seen at Trailhead are: Yellow (Mtn. Bike Trail), Light Blue (Buckeye Trail), and Red (Backpack Trail), be sure to follow the Red Blazes.  Access can be made to 2 primitive overnight campsites (free with registration-contact park office).

It traverses some of the more interesting viewpoints in the East Fork region.  The trail is rated as moderate for some inclines and offers views of the lake, is very wooded, and has seasonal wildflowers. Horses are NOT permitted on this trail.  Water filtration devices can be used near Overnight 2 at near lake access.
