This short section of trail connects the Cottrell Campus Drive access point to the Arboretum Loop. The half-mile Arboretum Loop is significantly less strenuous than the adjacent Hilly Loop, and leads to an observation deck that looks out over Okenson Pond with Lazy Mountain and Matanuska Peak in the background.
