The Ann Skager Trail is accessed from the second parking lot at Malibu Creek State Park. The short trail provides a generally flat walk through oak savannah along an accessible path. The trail splits from Campfire Center Trail a short distance from the visitors center and leads past the campfire ring.

The Ann Skager Trail can be accessed from the main parking lot at Malibu Creek State Park via Crags Road or Park Entrance Road. From the 101, exit at Las Virgenes Rd. in Calabasas and head south for approximately 3.4 miles. The park entrance is just past Mulholland Hwy on the right. From the PCH, turn east onto Malibu Canyon Rd. Continue onto the Las Virgenes Rd. Park entrance on left after approximately one mile.
