The DEK Hockey Rink was brought to the community in an effort to add an additional recreational opportunity to the complex and more opportunities for physical activity for youth and adults. The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation initiated the construction of the rink with other contributions from members of the community.

Dek Hockey is a variation of ice hockey in which the game is played using a ball, either outdoors on foot or with inline skates.

The Dek Rink is a “FREE PLAY” facility unless reserved and is available on a first come, first served basis by the hour. Reservations available by calling 330.740.7114
