A reservable shelter anchors the family friendly day use area with playground, grills, volleyball court, and restroom facilities. Nature lovers can view white-tailed deer, turkeys, and more. On the Turkey Creek Nature Trail, hikers will find many native tree species labeled. The ½ mile ADA accessible Mocking Bird Loop of the Turkey Creek Nature Trail is located between the Visitor's Center and the Dam.
