The "Painted Ladies" are a row of Victorian houses at 710–720 Steiner Street, across from Alamo Square Park. Also known as "Postcard Row", the houses were built between 1892 and 1894. While the houses have been around for more than a century, many people simply equate this landmark with the TV show "Full House", which featured the Painted Ladies in its opening credits. Be sure to have your photo taken from Alamo Square Park with the Painted Ladies and the City of San Francisco as your backdrop. Then wander down to the sidewalk and one block north (or downhill) to see the Painted Gentleman mural panels. More info: https://www.sftravel.com/painted-ladies
