The Idyllwild campground is within walking distance of the quaint town of Idyllwild. This campground was built in the 1930's by the California Conservation Corps. The campground has 33 campsites including 26 tent sites, 3 sites with full hookups, and 4 sites with electric hookup only. The maximum trailer length that this campground can accommodate is 24 feet. The campground features campfire programs every Saturday night between Memorial Day and Labor Day, as well as regularly scheduled Junior Ranger programs. Idyllwild campground is a perfect place to set up base camp for a weekend of hiking our many miles of trails within the Mount San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness.
