The Emmanuel Church was built in 1855 by Episcopalians and Methodists. Rev. Charles Caleb Peirce was one of the first ministers. In 1921 this building became the property of the Methodists, who made extensive improvements in that year.
Due to the current condition of the Emmanuel Church, we will not be allowing reservations until further notice. We are moving forward with efforts to restore and repair this historical site and appreciate your patience and support. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We are still booking weddings for the St. John’s church. Keep in mind, it only holds 65 people. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
