Winter access: by snowmachine, dog team, skis, fat-tire bike, or snowshoe. Access the cabin at the Lower Stiles Trailhead, mile 31.6 Chena Hot Springs Road.Summer access: by 4 wheeler, or other approved travel mode appropriate for the season, at the Compeau Trail head at 29.8 mile Chena Hot Springs Road. Follow blue and black diamonds at the Compeau Trail and blue diamonds on the winter use trail at 31.6 mile. Hikers can access both trails, however, the winter trail is extremely wet during the summer.
