People interested in camping in this area should look into staying at nearby campgrounds, such as Union Creek or Farewell Bend. The Abbott Creek Picnic Site is within Abbot Creek Campground. The Upper Rogue River Trail can be accessed nearby at the Upper Rogue River-Woodruff Bridge Trailhead. River and stream fishing is available at the nearby Upper Rogue River.
