This Daycation travels through Klineline Pond and meets Salmon Creek Greenway Trail. The park includes wetlands, bottomlands, and forested hillsides.  As you make your way through the park each stop will reflect and think about ducks and their unique lives! Follow the Dabbling Duck Field Guide below to help you identify the ducks!

Park Features: Barbecue Grills, Benches, Chlorinated Spray Ground, Fishing, Picnic Tables, Play Equipment, Restrooms, Sports Field

Hours: 7 AM - Dusk

Potty Break: Bathrooms are located near the Vancouver Girls Softball Association's fields. Other bathrooms are located across from Klineline Pond and the playground. 

Parking: Daycation starts at the south parking area between 117th st and I-5. 

Parking Fees: Payment kiosks at the entrance to Klineline Pond.

    • $6 for cars and trucks with trailers
    • $8 for buses or motor homes

      Park Rules: Trails are usable for pedestrians, dogs on leashes, bicyclists, and horses. Dogs, boats, canoes, kayaks, rafts, and air mattresses are not allowed in Klineline Pond.

      Public Transit: C-Tran #19 takes you ½ from the Klineline Pond entrance on NE 117th Street.

      Additional Parking Information: Pay to park at Klineline Pond ($2 for motorcycles, $3 for cars and trucks, $6 for cars/trucks with trailers, $8 for buses or motor homes. Payment kiosks at the entrance to Klineline Pond. There is additional parking at Salmon Creek Regional Park requires no parking fees. 

          Trail Surface: Paved with some bumps and uneven areas.

          Bathrooms: Gendered and accessible multi-stall bathrooms at Klineline Pond; Gender-neutral single stall accessible bathrooms by Salmon Creek Greenway softball fields.

          Benches along trail: Yes; companion seating.

          Signage: Trail map at Salmon Creek Greenway trailhead by softball fields. Rules and regulations sign at Klineline Pond.  Mile markers along the pavement. Starts at Klineline Pond and ends at the end of the Salmon Creek Greenway Trail (3 miles one way). Educational signs at Turtle Pond (¾ miles up the trail).
