Explore the nature at the heart of Ridgefield, Washington on this Daycation. Your family will start with a quick breakfast at the Old Liberty Theater. If it’s a First Saturday, you can participate in fun, family-friendly activities happening around town from 9AM to 2PM. Find themed kids games and activities, vendors, and more!

     Have a treat, and then head along the Port Waterfront trail up into the brand new Carty Lake Trail at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. Enjoy the incredible views of Carty Lake and Lake River before heading back into town for lunch. This Daycation finishes up with a picnic lunch at Davis Park and a trip to the playground.

    *Parent tip: Visit on a Saturday to enjoy the Saturday Market at Overlook Park! Features: Explore downtown Ridgefield, treat yourself to coffee and ice cream, and head from town along the waterfront and into a National Wildlife Refuge! Finish up with a picnic in the park and a trip to the playground.

    Parking: Parking is available near Overlook Park. If parking on Main at Overlook Park is full, there is a gravel parking lot just north across from the Sportsman’s.

    Potty Break: Restrooms are available at Overlook Park and for customers in the businesses mentioned.
