Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge is a great way to be in nature and not even leave downtown Portland. Bring binoculars if you can, and check out some of the bird nests on Ross Island and even up in the power line towers! You also get some pretty cool angles on the largest hand-painted mural in the country.

There is a bullfrog area down by the water, and we even got to see an osprey in its nest and a deer wandering the woods.

El Refugio Natural de Oaks Bottom es una manera excelente de sentir que estas en la naturaleza, sin siquiera salir del centro de Portland. ¡ No olvides tus binoculares, y si puedes echa un vistazo a los nidos de pájaros en la isla Ross, e incluso en las torres de las líneas eléctricas! También puedes encontrar una vista exclusiva del mural pintado a mano más grande del país.

Hay una zona de ranas junto al agua, e incluso en nuestra visita, pudimos ver un águila pescadora en su nido y un ciervo vagando por el bosque.
