A pleasant Summit alternative to Trail 1 that takes Trail 3 to Trail 4 up to the Electric Hill Saddle, then up Trail 1 to the Summit; then returning down Trail 1 to Trail 3 to Trail 7 and back to the North Trailhead. Trail 4 is cool and woodsy in the summer months, and the return loop on Trail 1 is downhill with long views to the west.
