Maunalaha trail is a 0.8 mile trail following a ridge into the mountains connecting to several other trails. At the top of the ridge connect to the Makiki Valley trail with a distance of 0.5 mile. Travel west across the Makiki valley until you intersect with the Kanealoe Trail a 0.7 mile trail heading makai towards the coast. Along this outing you will pass a natural spring and will have amazing views of Honolulu. The decent on the Kanealoe trail you will follow the Kanealoe stream to the end of the trail. Great for trail running and bird watching.
