Climb through oak and bay woodland to open grassland and experience expansive views to Mount Diablo, the Carquinez Strait, and beyond. This trail, a section of the Carquinez Strait Scenic Loop Trail, takes you through two John Muir Land Trust preserves—Sky Ranch and Dutra Ranch—and along the Lengthof the currently accessible historic Contra Costa Feeder Trail #1. The route ends at a ranch on Ferndale Road.
