This 2-mile hike begins at the parking area of Roland-May Eves Sanctuary (aka., Mt Inlet Sanctuary), which is in the Mohawk-North Shore Greenway of Hopatcong.  Follow the LHT/HT Spur trail north to the intersection of the main LHT/HT trail and head west (left) to Mt Brook Marsh, a 5-acre freshwater marsh that is home to beavers and other wildlife within the Lubbers Run Greenway. Spend some time looking at the beaver dams that are at the outflow of the marsh (Mt Brook). Return back the same way you arrived, but at the Yellow Loop trail conjunction with the LHT/HT Spur, turn right and loop around to the Bird Blind on Mt Inlet, which is just a couple hundred feet west from where you parked. Use the Map view for this Outing to see a number of "Stops" (points-of-interest) along the route, some of which have embedded audio narration (click twice on the Stop number to bring up details about the Stop)
