Join the City of San Ramon’s Open Space Advisory Committee for a hike along the Monarch Loop Trail. This moderate, 2.7-mile hike will take participants from the starting point at Monarch Park, winding through open space and the neighborhood, down and back Japonica Way to the Alamo Creek Trail, eventually arriving back at the starting point. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and ask questions about San Ramon’s trails, open space, and the Open Space Advisory Committee throughout the hike. The path is partially paved and partially in open space, so please be advised to wear appropriate footwear and walking attire. The walk is free; however pre-registration is required.
Due to the current County Health Guidelines, the City requests that all participants come prepared with appropriate face coverings and their own water. City will communicate with all registered participants regarding any updates to the County Health Guidelines that must be followed on the day of the event. Furthermore, if the program registration is full, the City encourages all interested participants to put their name on the waitlist. The City follows the County Health Orders and will release more openings if the County Health Orders allow.
Location: Meet at Monarch Park (8502 N Monarch Rd, San Ramon, CA 94582)
