The Tree Time! preschool program introduces youth to the natural world and is geared towards children ages 2-6 years old (all children must be accompanied by a guardian). Each week centers around a new theme to encourage exploration of plants, streams, bugs, and wildlife. Join us as we walk around Hoyt Arboretum with a volunteer naturalist. These walks feature a story, exploration of Hoyt Arboretum and craft. Walks are geared towards preschool aged students ages 2-6 years old. Walks are $5 per student.
These walks will meet in person at Hoyt Arboretum starting 9/14 and continuing to meet in the park through the fall. Due to COVID, Tree Time walks require pre-registration and only have the capacity to host 10 student per event.
COVID Safety procedures listed below:
– pre-registration required
-5 students in group. One parent required per student (only one parent at this time).
-Meeting in the Stevens Pavilion at Hoyt Arboretum.
– Time slots are either 9:50am or 10:20am. Sign up below.
-Requiring attendees to maintain social distance.
-Masks are required for educators, parents and any student over the age of 5 years old.
