On Saturday, December 6th, join us at Shawnee Prairie Preserve from 6pm-9pm for Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland. Wander along the (hopefully) snow-covered trails as you follow over 600+ candle-lit lanterns leading you to the Log House. In and around the Log House, warm yourself by the fire, visit with our pioneer volunteers, and enjoy a seasonal treat! Keep an eye out for the blue "Will o Wisps" leading you to the popular "Woodland Spirits" trail. The Nature Center will host a child’s craft and gingerbread cookie decorating, as well as a meet & greet with Santa! The gift shop will be open, offering a selection of unique gifts or that perfect stocking stuffer! Registration is required for Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland.
