“THE ONES AMONG US” art exhibition at Deer Creek Lodge features portraits of 20 Westerville Central High School students. Ten of the portraits were painted by Otterbein University art students and ten of the portraits were photographed by Westerville Central High School photography enthusiasts.
This exhibition brings to life images from the book and gives the students, artists, and teachers a platform to speak about their experiences working on this project as well as what they learned from each other during this creative process. The participants in this project hope that the work will illuminate universal threads that bind people together, fostering a deeper understanding of the shared human experiences that transcend multicultural boundaries.
This free art exhibit ends July 1st.
