Richard Johnson, Director of the Martha’s Vineyard Tick Program will present the latest data on deer and ticks on the Vineyard. The presentation will start with a review of the three common island ticks and the diseases that they carry. We will review the role of the white tailed deer, personal protection and how to make your yard safer. Dick will also present information on the spread of the lone star tick.
