Each October, students throughout Solano County, the nation and the world are encouraged make the effort to get out of the car and walk to school on International Walk to School Day.
In years past, Walk to School Day has been a great success and positive experience for our school communities. Whether you walk from home, or meet-up with friends at a nearby park and walk from there – it all counts! To help make it as safe as possible we can provide suggestions to help you organize your event, incentives for participants, and assist you with any questions you may have.

Cada octubre, se alienta a los estudiantes de todo el condado de Solano, la nación y el mundo a hacer el esfuerzo de salir del automóvil y caminar a la escuela en el Día Internacional de Caminar a la Escuela.
En años anteriores, el Día de Caminar a la Escuela ha sido un gran éxito y una experiencia positiva para nuestras comunidades escolares. Ya sea que camine desde su casa o se reúna con amigos en un parque cercano y camine desde allí, ¡todo cuenta! Para ayudar a que sea lo más seguro posible, podemos brindarle sugerencias para ayudarlo a organizar su evento, incentivos para los participantes y ayudarlo con cualquier pregunta que pueda tener.
