Join us on an oversand adventure as we explore the winter landscape of Norton Point, Wasque and Cape Pogue Wildlife Refuge. Learn about the natural history of the barrier beach as we keep our eyes peeled for wildlife. If we are lucky we may even spot a snowy owl.
Please note: We will be outdoors for approximately 2 hours (the vehicle we take may be open aired), and there will be times we will get out of the vehicle to hike on the beach. Please dress appropriately for the weather, and walking on the sand.
Binoculars and spotting scopes will be provided. Warm drinks and snacks will also be provided.
Pre-registration required.
