Join the Trustees on an oversand adventure as we explore the winter landscape of Norton Point, Wasque and Cape Pogue Wildlife Refuge. Learn about the natural history of the barrier beach as we keep our eyes peeled for wildlife. If we are lucky we may even spot a snowy owl.
We will be outdoors for approximately 2 hours and there will be times we will get out of the vehicle to hike on the beach. Please dress appropriately for the weather (the vehicle may be open aired), and walking on the sand.
Binoculars and spotting scopes will be provided. Warm drinks and snacks will also be provided.
Pre-registration required.
