Welcome to Mount Major! Mount Major is THE most popular hiking destination in the Lake Region, with an estimated 80,000 people visiting annually to hike to the 1786’summit for the spectacular views. Visit the kiosk to look at the hiking trail map and tips for a safe hike. This hike is set up as a scavenger hunt to be played by families with kids as they progress up the trail- see if you can find all the “stations.”
