Now that summer's here, we all want to run off-leash! Dogs enjoy exploring MV trails, beaches, and woodlands as much as their owners do. But MV's land conservation groups agree that:
- All dogs should be leashed at all times on all conservation properties and beaches.
More people are out on the trails than usual, including walkers, bird-watchers, bikers, and horseback riders. And for those folks who don't know and love your dog the way you do, it helps them feel more safe and secure on the trails when your dog is leashed up. Thanks for cooperating.

- Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary
- Long Point Wildlife Refuge
- Polly Hill Arboretum
