Hiking Bodenburg Butte is loved by locals, families, athletes and visitors alike. Located in the heart of the Butte neighborhood, it's central location and gorgeous views keep this destination a favorite.  

In 2015, a local non-profit. the Great Land Trust purchased the top of the Butte, permanently protecting it for the public to enjoy. The trailhead is managed by the Mat-Su Borough, and includes parking and outhouses.
