Tea Lane Farm is the quintessential up-island farm. The fields roll high and low; a dry hilltop drops into a broad swamp along the Tiasquam River. Trails lie against the edges of fields, with the exception of the path atop the hillock. The land is leased for flower cultivation and livestock grazing. Many other properties are near by: Middle Road Sanctuary, Middle Line Woods Preserve, trails to Great Rock Bight and Peaked Hill Reservation.
Tea Lane is named after an incident involving a secret depository of tea during the embargo on tea prior to the American Revolution. Park on the shoulder of Meetinghouse Road, just beyond its intersection with Middle Road. Trail starts on Middle Road just opposite this intersection.
