Sloping bluffs rise from the tar, just opposite the Head of the Lagoon Pond. This escarpment marks the westerly edge of the Southern Woodlands, which stretch across to the County Road. The reservation is adjacent to a network of trails on Featherstone Farm and Weahtaqua Springs Preserve and is also part of the Cross-Oak-Bluffs trail. Especially well-suited to cross-country skiing.

Park in the trailhead at the Featherstone Farm and follow map on signboard.
