Stretching along both sides of the Deschutes River, this striking park features large green space, river access and abundant natural areas. Mature trees and picnic tables afford visitors a beautiful spot to fish, picnic, hike or simply relax in nature. A footbridge over the river leads to the southwest side where visitors will enjoy connections to additional parks and trails. Sawyer Park is a popular viewing site for migratory and riparian birds, with over 140 species of birds having been spotted in the park. Bait and fly fishing are allowed all-year.
